Present Indefinite Tense
आइये देखते हैं कि Active से Passive में बदलने पर Present Indefinite Tense की Verb में क्या और कैसे बदलाव होता है.
Active Verb: S/es, Do/Does
Are changed to-
Passive Verb: Is/am/are
Example
Active: Ram writes a letter
Passive: A letter is written by Ram.
Active: Shyam does not write a letter
Passive: A letter does not written by Shyam.
Active: Does Ram write a letter?
Passive: Is a letter written by Ram.
Active: He sell books.
Passive: Books are sold by him.
Active: They help me.
Passive: I am helped by them.
Present Continuous Tense

Active Verb: Is/am/are
Are changed to-
Passive Verb: Is being /am being / are being
Example
Active: She is cooking food.
Passive: Food is being cooked by her.
Active: You are not singing a song.
Passive: A song is not being sung by you.
Active: Is she singing a song?
Passive: Is a song being sung by her?
Active: I am eating a mango.
Passive: A mango is being eaten by me.
Present Perfect Tense
आइये देखते हैं कि Active से Passive में बदलने पर Present Perfect Tense की Verb में क्या और कैसे बदलाव होता है.
Active Verb: Has/have
Are changed to
Passive Verb: Has been/have been
Example
Active: He has completed the task.
Passive: The task has been completed by him.
Active: He has not completed the task.
Passive: The task has not been completed by him.
Active: Has he completed the task?
Passive: Has the task been completed by him?
Active: They have written the examination.
Passive: The examination have been written by them.
Active: I have made some sweets.
Passive: Some sweets have been made by me.
Past Indefinite Tense

Active Verb: Verb 2nd form/ did
Are changed to
Passive Verb: Was/were
Example
Active: He bought a bike.
Passive: A bike is bought by him.
Active: He did not buy a car.
Passive: A car was not bought by him.
Active: Did he by a car?
Passive: Was a car bought by him?
Active: She decorated the room.
Passive: The room was decorated by her.
Active: I helped them.
Passive: They were helped by me.
Past Continuous Tense
आइये देखते हैं कि Active से Passive में बदलने पर Past Continuous Tense की Verb में क्या और कैसे बदलाव होता है.
Active Verb: Was/were
Are changed to-
Passive Verb: Was being/were being
Example
Active: She was washing a car.
Passive: A car was being washed by her.
Active: She was not washing a car.
Passive: A car was not being washed by her.

Active: They were playing cricket.
Passive: Cricket was being played by them.
Past Perfect Tense
आइये देखते हैं कि Active से Passive में बदलने पर Past Perfect Tense की Verb में क्या और कैसे बदलाव होता है.
Active Verb: Had
Is changed to-
Passive Verb: Had been
Example
Active: He had won the game.
Passive: The game had been won by him.
Active: You had not won the game.
Passive: The game had not been won by you.
Active: Had they won the game?
Passive: Had the game been won by them?
Active: I had watched movie.
Passive: Movie had been watched by me.
Future Indefinite Tense

Active Verb: Will/shall
Are changed to-
Passive Verb: Will be
Example
Active: She will write a letter.
Passive: A letter will be written by her.
Active: I shall eat a mango.
Passive: A mango will be eaten by me.
Active: Will she write a letter?
Passive: Will a letter be written by her?
Active: You will read a book.
Passive: A book will be read by you.
Active: They will arrange the money.
Passive: The money will be arranged by them.
Future Perfect Tense
आइये देखते हैं कि Active से Passive में बदलने पर Future Perfect Tense की Verb में क्या और कैसे बदलाव होता है.
Active Verb: Will have /shall have
Are changed to-
Passive Verb: Will have been
Example
Active: He will have receive the letter.
Passive: The letter will have been received by him.
Active: I shall not have received the letter.
Passive: A letter will not have been received by me.
Active: Will he have received the letter?
Passive: Will the letter have been received by him?
Note: कुछ tense ऐसे भी हैं जिनका Passive Voice नहीं होता है. जैसे:
- Present Perfect Continuous Tense
- Past Perfect Continuous Tense
- Future Perfect Continuous Tense
- Future Continuous Tense
- Sentence having intransitive verbs.
Intransitive Verb
An intransitive verb has two characteristics. First, it is an action verb, expressing a doable activity like arrive, go, lie, sneeze, sit, die, etc. Second, unlike a transitive verb, it will not have a direct object receiving the action.
